Who I am: A New York transplant from the Midwest. I settled into my work at a nonprofit animal hospital in the city & I’m still here, years later… in my cozy little home with my cozy little Chihuahua. I enjoy all types of art (sculpture, photography, & music of all genres).

My BFF encouraged me to join and this was the 1st photo… taken while commuting from Astoria into Manhattan. Little did I know it was the start of a wonderful adventure.
A photo I feel best represents my visual voice
I have learned that I like the challenge of creating a photo/story from my imagination… something that doesn’t already exist. I enjoy shaping it into a scene that can be captured by the camera.
Favorite Cues: PERSPECTIVE & STORY
On Photo Jam: Amazing!!!!! Molly and the jammers (from novices to professionals) sharing their art while encouraging each other is truly special. If you would like to learn about Fibonacci/the Golden spiral/rule of thirds, etc …while laughing & sharing… this is the place! In the past I would aim to take photos that were “nice shots” but later learned that I like a photo that can tell a story/ provoke thoughts. For me that is possible when I tap into my imagination more.
