This photo of a place I love reminds me of a special time there. Love the way the path disappears into the clouds and how the tree stands as a lone sentry at an entrance to what lies ahead.

A photo I feel best represents my visual voice: I photograph what speaks to me: nature, color, patterns, angles, light, shadow; a hidden message — in this photo: the simple and ordinary tasks of life are beautiful and inspiring.

Photo Jam is always a fun and positive social experience.   It is an inclusive atmosphere – everyone’s view and work is respected and valued. As you hear about the positive aspects of others’ work, you are learning about how to improve your own photos. I’ve learned to improve my photography in a variety of ways:  composition, lines, angles, shadow, layers. The Jam fosters growth and inspires creativity in a safe space. The words and experiences from Jam stay in my mind and guide me as I’m looking through the lens and snapping more photos.
